Hay River Territorial Park + My Favorites
Located on Vale Island on the shore of Great Slave Lake, Hay River Territorial Park features a playground, BBQ pits, volleyball nets and a concession stand in the summer. Open from May 15 to September 15, the park includes a campground and a nautically themed reception building. Twin Falls Territorial Park + My Favorites
Located 50 km (31 mi) south of the town of Hay River, Twin Falls Territorial Park is home to the impressive Alexandra and Louise Falls. The park includes a number of special features including a pathway from the Hay River Canyon to the falls, an interpretive trail, display panels discussing the importance of the falls to the First Nations people of the region and a campsite.
