    Idaa Trail
    The Idaa Trail is a traditional water route used for centuries by the Dogrib people. The trail runs between Great Slave Lake near Hay River and Great Bear Lake near Yellowknife and was traversed used canoes in summer and dog teams in winter. Various First Nations artifacts have been found along its route.

    Yamozha K'ue Society - Dene Cultural Institute

    Located on the Hay River Dene Reserve, the Yamozha K'ue Society offers pre-arranged informative visits for groups. The society fosters understanding of Dene culture and history through activities and publications. A Dene arts store is located onsite and is open to the public Monday to Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
